Promising clinical data from Kiadis Pharma’s lead product ATIR™ will be presented at the 51st American Society of Hematology’s (ASH) Annual Meeting
Biopharmaceutical company Kiadis Pharma announces the presentation of results obtained in two clinical trials with its lead product ATIR™. Dr. Denis Claude Roy will present data from a clinical study with ATIR™ in a mismatched stem cell transplantation setting. This study is performed in patients with no treatment options left and having no matched donor available for a standard transplantation procedure. Dr. Stephan Mielke will present clinical data with ATIR™ in a matched stem cell transplantation setting. Both presentations will take place at the 51st ASH Annual Meeting to be held on December 5 - 8, 2009 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, USA.

About ATIR™
ATIR™, a donor lymphocyte preparation depleted of alloreactive T-cells, is under development to reduce transplant related mortality (TRM) following an allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). ATIR™ is designed to provide early immune reconstitution to fight infections and remaining tumor cells while preventing acute severe (Grade III/IV) GvHD and therefore significantly improves the outcome of the transplant procedure. Moreover, it enables the use of a mismatched, related (haplo-identical) donor, thereby providing virtually everyone with an immediately available donor and treatment.
